I had my Cataract Operation on the 13/06 at the Holly and from start to finish I received great support. Dr Bowes was attentive and advised me again about the procedure, he had a calming manner which helped me to calm down. On my checkup, I met the same attentive and professional doctor.

This doctor was kind, helpful, friendly and very objective in his approach to my problem. He took pains to put me at ease, whilst tackling the issues I brought up in a very reassuring way. He quickly got to the bottom of the problem, whilst being misdirected initially by myself who had misread my own vision status with regard to my previous cataract operation. His treatment was positive and carried out without delay. He explained the costs involved, and left me feeling that I had come to the right place! I trust his judgement and skill, and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

A bright, charming individual who is a good listener. I had left eye cataract surgery. His approach was reassuring, positive and extremely encouraging with a better than expected outcome. He is like a breath of fresh air.

Having been under the care of Mr Bowes for six months, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He undertook both my cataract operations, the more severely affected eye in January and then gave me plenty of time to adjust and make up my mind regarding the choice of lens, in readiness for my second just a few weeks ago. I was initially very nervous about the process and procedure, but due to a combination of his ease of manner, knowledge and patience he totally put me at ease. His appointments never felt rushed and I asked as many questions as I could and he was happy to go over points with me numerous times. I have come away from the whole experience absolutely amazed at the quality of vision and cannot thank him enough.
